How returns work

Register the return
Enter your invoice or delivery note number plus the postal code, and confirm with the code we send you by email.

Select items
Pick the items you wish to return, enter the quantity and briefly state the reason.

Shipping path
For deliveries within Germany you'll get a DHL self-pay link automatically. For international shipments, please return the parcel at your own expense.

Send the parcel
Pack the items carefully — in the original packaging if possible — and drop the parcel off at DHL.

Check & refund
We confirm goods receipt by email. Within 1–3 working days we'll check the shipment and process the credit.
Return period
Returns are possible within 30 days from the document date.
Conditions
- Items are unused and in flawless condition
- The return is complete
- Original packaging where possible
- Custom-made or specially ordered items are excluded from withdrawal where legally permitted

When will I get my money back?
After your shipment arrives, we'll check the goods within 1–3 working days. For accepted returns we process the credit — depending on the payment method, you'll usually have the amount back within a few working days.
What happens if the goods are damaged?
If we find an issue during the check, you'll get a separate email with three options: repair (may incur a fee), return to you or waive / disposal. You'll choose via a link in the email how we should proceed.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
For shipments within Germany we provide a DHL self-pay link — the shipping cost is charged directly by DHL. For international shipments you bear the return shipping cost.
What if my order is older than 30 days?
The portal will automatically block the registration. Please contact our customer service directly at info@burchard-gmbh.de or +49 (0) 5261 97710 — we're happy to review special cases individually.
Can I return multiple orders together?
Please register a separate return per order in the portal. You can ship the parcels physically together — what matters is that each order has its own return number in the system.
