Since 1980, Motorrad Burchard has stood for passion, experience and high-quality solutions for motorcycles. What began as a local motorcycle dealer has grown over more than four decades into an internationally active manufacturer and supplier of motorcycle accessories.
Our story
Motorcycle passion, development and manufacturing from Lemgo
Our story began in 1980 as a local motorcycle dealer. It soon became clear that off-the-shelf solutions do not always match riders' individual ideas. From that experience grew the ambition not merely to sell accessories, but to develop and manufacture our own solutions.
Today our expertise covers the entire process: from the idea and technical design through the production of individual components to final assembly, quality control and delivery. A traditional focus lies on accessories for choppers and cruisers. At the same time, we now develop and sell products for numerous other motorcycle brands and models.
Despite our international orientation, our site in Lemgo remains the heart of the company. Management, office, shipping, logistics and production all work closely together here.
Manufacturing process
From the idea to the finished motorcycle part
A high-quality motorcycle part does not come into being at final assembly. It starts with an idea, a specific requirement and the question of how design, function and precise fit can best be combined.
Development and design
New products and technical solutions are developed on the basis of specific vehicle requirements. Digital design and manufacturing data provide the basis for reproducible, precise components.
Manufacturing the components
Individual parts are produced using suitable manufacturing methods and prepared for the next production steps. Dimensional accuracy, material quality and clean workmanship are decisive.
Welding, surface finishing and final assembly
The manufactured components are joined, machined and assembled into complete products. In doing so, we check fit, function and workmanship.
Warehouse, shipping and service
After quality control, the products are put into stock or prepared directly for dispatch. Our team makes sure orders are processed reliably and customers receive personal support.
Manufacturing
Our production in Lemgo
In our production we combine craftsmanship with modern manufacturing technology. New ideas are worked out digitally and translated into manufacturing data. Depending on the component, different processes and work steps are used.
The individual components are machined, inspected and then joined in further production stages. In the welding shop, individual parts become robust assemblies. Depending on the product, surface finishing, preparation and final assembly follow.
Our aim is consistently high quality – whether it is a single part, an assembly or a complete accessory product.
Logistics
Warehouse and worldwide shipping
Besides production, our site in Lemgo also houses the warehouse, shipping and logistics. This keeps many processes closely interlinked. Once finished, products can be inspected, stored and prepared for dispatch.
Our stock keeping allows us to handle numerous available items at short notice. The shipping team takes care of accurate picking, suitable packaging and handover to our shipping service providers.
In addition to end customers in Germany, we also supply international customers and trade partners. Being personally reachable and handling orders transparently remain an important part of our service promise.

Quality, testing and responsibility
Motorcycle accessories must not only look good. Depending on the product, load capacity, precise fit, material selection, fitting and the relevant legal requirements play a central role. That is why testing and quality control accompany our products through various stages of development and manufacturing.
For products with corresponding approval or testing requirements, we work with the necessary documents and procedures. What is decisive is always the specific design of the product in question. Whether an ABE, a Teilegutachten, an Anbaubegutachtung or an individual approval is required is therefore stated per product.
This way our customers receive not only a motorcycle part, but also the clearest possible information on its intended use and fitting.
Service
Motorcycle parts straight from the maker
Anyone wanting to convert, customise or technically adapt their motorcycle needs parts that suit the vehicle and the planned conversion. Via our Motorcycle Garage, customers can select their motorcycle and search specifically for suitable products.
Besides our online shop, we also offer support with fitting, motorcycle conversions and technical questions at our Lemgo site. In this way we combine product experience, manufacturing and practical application.
