Therefore, only the blinker cables need to be routed back.Fitting the side license plate holderFit the pre-assembled side license plate holder to the original mounting points on the swingarm.Use the vehicle's original fastening screws for this.Also use the spring washers and washers supplied.Fitting the blinker holderFit the supplied blinker holder to the original fixing points under the mudguard.Use the screws and spacer bushes supplied for this.Then fit indicators of your choice with a valid E number.Connecting the indicatorsConnect the indicators to the vehicle cables that were previously laid back.Ensure that all electrical connections are properly insulated and protected.Fitting the cover plateOnce the indicators have been fitted and connected, attach the cover plate of the blinker holder.Use the screws supplied for this.Then glue the supplied reflector to the center of the cover plate.Advantages of the side license plate holderTidy vehicle appearanceMoving the license plate to the side of the vehicle ensures a much slimmer and tidier rear view. Then remove the original cap nuts from the propshaft. The original stud bolts in the propshaft must also be removed.Note:The stud bolts are usually fitted with threadlocker. Carefully heat the stud bolts and then unscrew them from the propshaft.Fitting the side license plate holderFit the pre-assembled side license plate holder to the original fastening points of the cardan drive. To do this, use the two screws supplied for the cardan drive, the spacer bush and the screw for fastening to the shock absorber.Dismantling the original license plate holderThe original license plate holder including indicators and reflectors can no longer be used. Dismantle the original license plate holder completely and also remove the original indicators.Fitting the indicatorsThe indicators must be mounted at another suitable location on the vehicle. The two rear holes in the rear struts are recommended.Important note:If the original indicators are not used, indicators with a valid E approval mark must be fitted.Fitting the rear reflectorThe reflector must be refitted below the mudguard.Laying the license plate lightPull back the cable of the original license plate light and route the cable along the cardan shaft on the inside of the license plate holder to the LED license plate light.
