This mounting kit is used to install the Softail fairing 998294.It is the OEM replacement for part number 57001249. Please note that for installation on Street Bob and Softail Standard models, you will also need to purchase parts 12700164 (left turn signal bracket), 67800630 (right turn signal bracket), and 2x 67015-02 (screw lock) must be purchased. Low Rider models with high handlebars/Moto Bars also require these parts. The mounting kit is not compatible with models featuring inverted forks. The MCS M8 Low Rider Fairing Kit is a high-quality custom version of the OEM fairing. It is made of unpainted, glossy ABS with a tinted windshield. This kit replaces OEM part numbers 57001562 (fairing), 57300375 (seals for body parts), 11100285 (insulation pad for air intake), and 57400587 (windshield mounting). Please note that the trim mounting kit 998289 must be purchased separately to install the trim and headlight. Additionally, the OEM headlight trim kit 67700629 must be purchased separately if the OEM ST headlight is being reused. Please note that this is not a plug-and-play kit and modifications are required.
