What do I have to consider when converting the handlebars for my Honda CMX 500 Rebel?

If a handlebar is installed that is up to 18cm higher than the original handlebar, you must install our +20cm longer throttle and clutch cables:

Brake cable:
The length of the brake hose from the brake master cylinder to the frame triangle depends on the handlebars installed. A 370 mm brake hose with a 45° eyelet is fitted at the factory. All we need is the desired length of the upper line (measured from the center of the eyelet to the end of the line) and the upper connection type (eyelet 20° or 45° offset).
The following items are included in the brake line kit:
- 1 x brake hose from the brake calliper to the frame triangle
- 1 x 90° distributor
- 1 x lens seal
- 1 x brake hose from the brake master cylinder to the frame triangle
- 1 x 90° distributor
